Gold Medal win for etco* Apprentice Daniel Berry
2010 marks the 60th anniversary of WorldSkills International.
etco* apprentices Daniel Berry and Trent McKenzie competed in the recent Worldskills National Finals held in Christchurch. Daniel won a Gold Medal in the Industrial section of the competition and will now represent New Zealand at the World Championships in London in 2012. Trent also performed very well and picked up a Silver Medal in the Domestic/Commercial section.
Congratulations also go to Jason Armstrong of Plunket Electrical, Oamaru who received a Gold Medal in the Domestic/Commercial category. Jason will also join Daniel in the New Zealand team for the World Championships. The Silver Medal in the Industrial category was taken by Shaun McInerney of Bremca Southland.
