etco* co-ordinator sparks interest in careers expo
etco* Apprenticeship Co-ordinator Gary Woodward joined other Industry training organisations and training providers during a large Careers Expo taking place in the Hauraki Coromandel region at the end of July. The Hauraki Herald reported that the road show was a great success with hundreds of secondary school students from Waihi, Paeroa, Hauraki Plains colleges, Whangamata area schools, Whitianga, Coromandel area schools and Thames High School attending.
Road shows such as this one have been instrumental in increasing the awareness of students to the value of gaining trade qualifications.
