ECANZ Competency Course
Content
The ECANZ Competency course offered by etco* covers the EWRB requirements for registration or renewal of a practising licence for electricians and electrical apprentices. The course includes:
- Supervision of trainees
- Earthing requirements as listed in AS/NZS3000:2007
- The installation, operation and testing of residual current devices (RCCB, RCBO, SRCD and PRCD)
- Prospective short circuit currents
- Testing and certification as listed in AS/NZS3000:2007, AS/NZS3760:2010 and the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010
- First Aid and CPR.
The course is four hours long.
Please note: this is NOT a Site Safe course.
Course cost: $110.00 or $100.00 (incl GST) for ECANZ members. To book a place, select the course date suitable for you below and proceed to payment.
There is a maximum of 20 spaces available per course so please make sure your enrolment is completed successfully. If however we do not meet our minimum participant number to run a course, it may be postponed or cancelled. In this event, we will advise you in good time.
Once you have booked, if you have a valid reason for not being able to attend and notify us in advance, we can transfer your place to the next available date. In all other instances, course fees will not be refunded.
